The Skate-Arena Jüterbog was opened on the 28. August 2004. It was built at the former riding stadium of the town Jüterbog. The modern sports facility is situated near the nearly 180km long Fläming-Skate.
Whether as training camp for profis, study place of one's own capability or a competition place - the generously created and very modern facility is well suited for individual and team contests.
Floodlights make activities at night possible. 800 covered seats and 600 free seat allow visitors to enjoy the sport on fast wheels vividly.
The Skate-Arena Jüterbog was the venue for the Speed-Skating European Championship from the 31st July 2005 to 07th August 2005. Taking place were ring competitions, a street run and a marathon.
