Frau Monika Ochotzki had the idea to found a Heimatverein. Inspired by Herr Zühlke, who wanted to relinquish his 'collected works' only to a Heimatverein, interested citizens of the town Trebbin got together and work hard. An idea was born! Now we had to find a name for the baby. We agreed on "Trebbiner Heimatverein e.V.
Now we needed suitable accommodation to store the items made available to us and present them to the public through exhibitions. Thanks to the participation of Mayor Berger, the club got to use the premises at the Denkmalsplatz. A first presentation to the public with pictures and collector's items from Herr Zühlke took place already at the Trebbiner Christmas market on the 30.11. and 01.12.2002. At events, organised by the Clauert Haus, we as Heimatverein are always present.
Otherwise the Heimatverein opens its gates every Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm for people interested in local history.
The members of the Heimatverein meet every last Monday in a month at 6pm. New members are always welcome.
