Barbara-Hall
image author: city-map Teltow Fläming The Barbara - Hall lies in the community Niedergörsdorf in the village Altes Lager. The forming arms for the origin of the garrison Jüterbog was the artillery. That is why the garrison history club chose the holy Barbara, the patron saint of artillery as part of the name.

It was built as a supply hall for the army. After the 1st World War it was further used and extended by the Reichswehr and the armed forces.
image author: city-map Teltow Fläming The facility was taken over by the Soviet army after the 2nd World War and in the course of their pull-out in 1994 given back to the German administration.
The garrison history club has been the owner of the hall 'St. Barbara' since June 2004.

The building has a floor space of around 3.600 squaremetres. It served originally Luftzeugamt / Luftpark Jüterbog as logistic hall.
The by now listed building carries since the day of the Open Monument 2003 the name "Barbara-Hall" and has been designated as a garrison museum that is still developing.
On the day of the Open Monument or by arrangement the exhibition can be viewed.
